Year 2 - Expensive, Opaque, & Insufficient After my poor review last year - I was contacted by a company representative who kindly managed to FINALLY get my claims reviewed and paid. Silly me, I decided to give them a second chance this year - so renewed my policy. It is the same story - weeks to pay claims, and when they do, they have no explanation of what is being denied (I have illness, accident AND WELLNESS), but I get paid <$100 on $300++ claims. For the amount of money I pay monthly, plus deductible, +co-pays and the hassle of chasing down every claim, this company is not worth it, and I'll be switching plans this year.

Pet Insurance is a must! TrustedPals has been excellent so far! Nearly immediately after getting my rescue dog, she came down with HGE, which required an overnight emergency hospital stay. I would have had to pay nearly $2k out of pocket if I hadn't had pet insurance. The claim process was incredibly smooth, and I love that they cover vaccinations and other care as well! Such a good deal for my peace of mind, and given the aforementioned emergency, TrustedPals has already paid for itself for over 3 years.

After looking at what felt like a… After looking at what felt like a million pet insurance companies I finally found TrustedPals. What I loved the most was that they didn't allocate how I was able to use the money within the 'wellness plan'. Any time I've ever had a question regarding a claim, I always get a quick response and these people are the nicest around. It feels like the Chik-fil-a of pet insurance companies! I love my pup like he's my child, so finding a company that I felt looked out for his best interests was non-negotiable.

Great Choice After reviewing many insurance plans, we decided on TrustedPals and are glad we did. The rates are reasonable and cover many things. We included the Wellness Plan which came in very handy when our adopted dog needed to be brought up to date in all her shots and to have her spay surgery. TrustedPals quickly approved the claims and deposited the funds directly into our account in a timely manner. I would like to be able to see our claims on our account when we log into the website. Hopefully that will possible soon.

Not-so-Trusted Pal “Trusted Pals”. What an ironic name for a company so untrustworthy. In 2021 we enrolled our senior dogs, paid our monthly fees on time, but were sent a cancellation notice in early 2023. They kicked us off because they were “no longer covering pet insurance”, YET they are still in business with no end date. And we and our senior dogs with preexisting conditions are screwed. This company is unethical and there need to be consequences.
