GBAHS provided great service AHS provided great service through local professionals. I am very satisfied with how they solved problems with either parts or like-kind brand new replacements. There were times when I would have preferred to pay for an upgrade but I understood the conditions of this service when I signed up. Regardless, I have no complaints in the several times we used them as they definitely lived up to their commitments in all cases. I can definitely recommend AHS as a very good home appliance insurance company.

GBWorst home warranty company ever Worst home warranty company ever! They never cover anything - they always say it’s not their responsibility. Or they’ll cover some of it and you still need to come out of pocket with over $1000. EVERY TIME I file a claim with them it’s the same story and answer. Now I’m dealing with a major flood because they refuse to do anything they’re supposed to do.

GBFalse advertising. Cannot cancel any time. Tried to cancel my plan on a Sunday morning. Called the service line asking to cancel but being told that the Member Services team who processes cancellations only works M-F 8a to 5p. I asked if anyone currently working has the authority to cancel my plan and they claimed they do not. Then I asked for a call record number to document my interaction and they said they cannot share that number. So I can't cancel any time, only during business hours, and I don't have the right to know my call/ticket ID.

GBPrompt professional and helpful When ever I need a repair done they are fast to assign a tradesman and supply the work order and company number. I call and usually get the repairman next day or two.

GBAHS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AS EFFECTIVE AS A MERRY-GO-ROUND What went wrong is that AHS makes it impossible to get through to someone within the company who can make/override decisions of the customer service reps in the Philippines. I thought it was a law that if I were to ask to be transferred to someone stateside who was fluent in English that the out of country employees would have to do so; however, they tell me they have no way of connecting me to anyone stateside. They do give me a telephone number for their HQ in Tennessee, but that's a waste of time because you cannot get a live person on the telephone. It's all robotics. So, if you have an issue to resolve, you might as well throw it to the wind. You'll get the same result doing that. I'm going to search for another home warranty company. I'll make certain I can reach a live person in their stateside office before I sign up. If that doesn't work, I'll just put my premiums aside each month and self-insure.
