I have been with American Home Shield… I have been with American Home Shield for over 5 years. Their service is very prompt and courteous. Anytime I have had a emergency at home with maintenance or appliances, they have been really good about sending service on the same day or next day

SAVE YOUR MONEY - PAY FOR YOUR OWN REPAIRS! They utilize contractors that are new in business, non-professional. We had only 3 claims in 3 years but on all of them, we had to have our own contractor repair the damage as AHS's choice of contractor was inept. When we decided it was time to drop the coverage, AHS gave me the run-around, transferred my calls into a cue for 30+ minutes & did not get back to me. I eventually had to stop payments through my bank to get my contract cancelled. Awful treatment, poor contractors, very pricey at $108.00 per month. Each year the price goes up and they lower the cap on what they will pay if you have a covered event! I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Would Rate 0 if I Could This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a home warranty company. 2-10 Homebuyers Warranty is much better. Possibly a bit more expensive, but worth the cost. They sent out the wrong service technician to repair my home and sent multiple companies out to my home to fix the same problem. Then, I had to eat the cost for the mistake.The companies they contract for repairs are not flexible with their times and do not try to accommodate the customers' needs. I had to take off work several days just to use AHS contractors to make simple repairs to my home. I will never use this company again and would suggest that you do not either.

3 things 3 things. Been with AHS for seven years. My warranty says the water heater is covered. Water heater broke down. 1) AHS says they won't cover it. 2) When asked if I could speak to a manager, I was told it would be in 2 to 3 business days. 3) Customer service agents do not speak good English which makes it hard to understand them. Do not use this company. They do not honor their word and you are not important enough to speak to a manager on the same day.

Never had a claim for 3 yrs at $89/mo. 2/16/2024 roof leak claim Assigned 24/7 Perfect Roof who never called, never return 6 calls to me OR AHS. “Reassigned another company” who AHS could not find or assign. 2/26/2024 Tried to cancel contract but “1 more chance” they assured me I could go out of network. Out of network denied by AHS because of manufactured home status, which they knew 3 yrs ago. YOUR FIRED!!!! REVIEW: 0/10 Do not use!!!!
