GBNot big hype or pressure Not big hype or pressure. No lies or knocking competitors. Honest, frank and professional. Hung in while I did more research and was happy to join into their protection. Simple and easy and a bit more expensive than other companies, but more covered (like emissions components....unlike other places) and the friendliness of their staff is incredible. Money is not always an end all for selection. Thanks for sticking with me and making my life more relaxed and comfortable with the coverage.

GBExtended Warranties are a Rip off. I learned from experience what financial advisors Dave Ramsey and Suze Orman said, "Extended warranties are a rip off." I would have done better by putting the $3,000.00 I paid CarChex into a savings account and I would have earned interest. I also would have the money to pay cash for my car's repair. I had problems with my 2019 Cadillac XTS. The total cost for the repair was $3,332.74. CarChex/American Auto Shield paid only $946.45. I had to pay the balance of $2,385.74 I paid CarChex $3,000.00 upfront several years ago, and this is the first time I have filed a claim.

GBStop and do not waste your money The claims for Carchex are handled through American auto shield and their claim adjusters will do absolutely everything to not pay a claim or deny the full amount. You will pay way more than your deductible and their roadside assistance is the absolute worst

GBDon't give them your phone number Don't give them your phone number, they will keep calling and continuously press to take the same offer, even though I told them at least 5/6 times that I am not interested in, they kept calling me.

GBI called this company to get a price on… I called this company to get a price on an extended warranty. The sales group was high pressure to close me at that time. After this I received phone calls every hour from different phone numbers pressuring me to get a warranty. I will never use this company as the sales tactics are horrible. If they are this high pressure I cannot imagine how hard it would to have repair covered. The sales team is horrible.
