GBShame on carchex My daughter purchased an extended warranty for a Subaru, she added gaskets and seals. She had her first oil change everything was fine nothing was noted, she went for a second oil change they discovered oil leaks. Car checks refused to cover anything, also would not allow us to re-submit claim. Shame on you car checks. Will never deal with this company again nor will I recommend this company to anyone.

GBNot big hype or pressure Not big hype or pressure. No lies or knocking competitors. Honest, frank and professional. Hung in while I did more research and was happy to join into their protection. Simple and easy and a bit more expensive than other companies, but more covered (like emissions components....unlike other places) and the friendliness of their staff is incredible. Money is not always an end all for selection. Thanks for sticking with me and making my life more relaxed and comfortable with the coverage.

GBI would give carchex zero star I would give carchex zero star for there coverage and business. Stay away from them. Their coverage is misleading. I purchased the extended warranty for $3100 which it should be the best. Unfortunately they refused to cover the catalytic convertor of my 2016 F150. When I asked to terminate the deal they refused to pay back what they owe. The good news is I took the car to Ford dealership and purchased a new extended warranty fixed for $1750 but they covered and changed me only $100 deductible.

GBI paid $189.95 for someone in… I paid $189.95 for someone in Arlington, Texas to inspect a 2006 Audi A3. They omitted a 18" long crease on the hatchback, and obvious oil leak, a missing factory skid plate other damage on the left facing front corner, and a parasitic battery drain, a broken control arm on the front passenger side which also affected the driveshaft that needed replacement. I file a complaint with Carchex and they never responded. This happened in 2015. I just thought people should know what type of scam they are running.

GBSTAY AWAY FROM CARCHEX STAY AWAY FROM CARCHEX! I'd give them a ZERO if possible. For starters, the sales rep and their written policy states that you can go to the dealer. However according to CARCHEX customer service, the policy does not cover OEM parts, just aftermarket. News flash, the dealer doesn't use aftermarket. I had a claim three months after the policy started and they denied the claim because my mechanic didn't have my correct mileage documentation. Obviously whoever worked on my car, had someone's information on the screen, typed over with my info but forgot to change the mileage. When the inspector arrived all he did was complain that i filed a claim. Then CARCHEX said my mechanic REFUSED to nearly dismantle my entire engine, do a leakdown test, oil consumption test etc. Who was going to pay for all that labor if the claim was denied!? These people are ridiculous. My mechanic had the turbo ready to show the inspector where it had an internal seal leaking. This third party adjustor asked who authorized that work? I said how else are you going to know what the problem is unless you diagnose the problem in order to file a claim? These people kept giving us different answers.
