After filling an auto claims against this insurance company, several time trying to call , send emails, put a voice massage’s nobody responded!!!! Finally I found their help center and called VICTOR answered, I requested to talk with claims department manager and he didn’t let me talk and never understand what is my concerns, and after wasting my time he said I will put your name and phone number for manager and they will call me!!!!!! Good luck I’m still waiting for it Never waste your time and money here if you appreciate yourself and valorize yours

be aware of their iron fist in a velvet glove. Initially, I was pleased with Metromile. It was a young, dynamic company, offering a good service. However, it changed for the worst. I am 81 and leave alone in the heart of the Sequoias. Last year I had a major surgery and went to my friends in Long Island, NY. to recuperate. Before I left, I call Metromile and ask if it is OK to suspend my insurance for about seven months and reinstate it when I am back in California. I was told there is no problem, but no one took care to explain that my rates would go up. They increased everything: the base rate, per/mile rate, even an after 100 miles discount went up to 250 miles. They said I had to be treated as a new client. No explanation and no consideration. They lied, saying that it is also because the industry has increased rates. When I checked it out with Progressive and the 20-th century, I was told, no rates were increased in that period. It's actually unbelievable how bad this… It's actually unbelievable how bad this insurance company is. I had my car stolen for 2 weeks, and not only did they not pay to get the biohazard detailing to remove the crack soot from the person who stole my car, but since the vehicle was covered while the person stole it drove it, I'm on the hook for the 100 miles they drove WHILE MY CLAIM AND POLICE REPORT WERE OPEN. Absolutely ridiculous, avoid this company at ALL costs.

Crooked Insurance Company I was trying to cancel my insurance with this company and they would not cancel it until I reported them to consumer protection agency. They wanted to charge me on no signal fees for as long as they could for a car that was sold. They will try to charge you on technicality. Do not trust or do business with this company. I cannot imagine if I would have got into an accident, how would they protect me. Their customer service is pathetic. It does not matter who you talk to. They sound and act like robots. The are owned by Lemonade insurance. They are a tech company.

I strongly do not recommend I used Metromile a little over a year ago. They cancelled my policy with no warning. When I called in, they had the most atrocious customer service I had ever encountered.
