GBThe WORST car insurance ever, taking too… The WORST car insurance ever, taking too much advantage on how they applied and dictate to goes up your policy and Mileage gap”without any valid reason!!!!!for the beginner but not worth for service rendered!!!

GBMy preferred auto-insurance provider Rates are reasonable. Customer service is well above average. Whenever I had a flat or needed a jump, Metromile's roadside assistance proved to be extremely useful.

GBWatch out! I've been ghosted for months by them Was previously a fan, but they've become a joke throughout my claims process. They just straight up will not respond. Does anyone even work over there in their claims department??? Never had a worse customer experience at a large company. My claim was approved, and I was paid a portion but required a supplemental. Nobody responds to email or calls over there. They give me pointless replies every so often, but I've now been without my car for months.

GBIf "zero stars" could be "awarded" to… If "zero stars" could be "awarded" to this POS "company" I would give it a NEGATIVE 10 STARS. Was T-Boned and Metromile claimed that car was "predetermined to be total loss". Haven't heard from the USELESS adjuster, DAVE GABBARD won't return my calls. DON'T USE THIS AS YOUR INSURANCE CARRIER, THEY'RE TRULY USELESS. EDIT: METROMILE FINALLY CALLED ME, AND I COME TO FIND OUT THAT THE "INSURANCE ADJUSTER" THAT WAS "WORKING" (I use that term very lightly) WITH MY CLAIM "WAS NO LONGER WITH THEM". Gee, no wonder why! He didn't do his job! NO ONE HAD THE DAMN DECENCY TO GET BACK TO ME. Trying to warn folks in advance through Trust Pilot.

GBGood insurance for city drivers I have had Metromile for years and have used them for a major accident I was in. I got hit by someone and it caused a lot of damage. Though I did not have a rental as part of my insurance, they gave me one anyway. I assume it was because the other insurance company was going to pay for it anyway. I realize this is an ideal scenario if you are going to be in an accident. The process for getting the car into the shop, looked at, repairs approved, etc. was a few days...like within a week. They then handled everything on my behalf with the other insurance company. I thought I was going to have to pay my deductible when I picked up my car, but they covered that too and just added it to the bill for the other insurance company. Keep in mind, this really is an insurance for city drivers, those that just commute a reasonable distance to and from work, and those that do local driving. The rates are great and base costs are really low. I keep shopping around for new insurance and nothing ever comes remotely close. For those that complain about being "monitored," I say this with a ton of love and respect: it's highly unlikely that anyone is really that interested in your life.
