GBUnprofessional and unethical company I had to submit a claim in 2018. It took Hiscox 2 years to deal with the repairs, terrible experience of having poor works done by two different companies. They finally offered me a settlement as they were unable to finish the repairs. The costs put against the claim were way higher that they should have been, and included works which were needed due to damage caused by their ‘cowboy’ builders as well as compensation costs for the appalling service. When I cancelled my policy they took out my payment for the month after cancellation.

GBAwful - dishonourable to customers. Avoid. Awful. Would not recommend at all. Business policy proved to be pointless. We had stolen goods. It was a completely legitimate claim. Didn't pay out. Hiscox used a 3rd party assessor - they used every small technicality to dispute and deny the claim. Its ruined the annual profits of the business. Don't use them. We honestly dont know how these people sleep at night.

GBThis insurance is really NOT necessary… This insurance is really NOT necessary for my business style. Retired, no property is owned by me, no real property, no real estate, no deeds, no liabilities! Why insured when no liabilities? Wasted money, time effort. I only sell, there guides lines is all that can be achieved.

GBDo not use this insurer. Do not use this insurer. Failed to pay valid claims and is drawing out the process of a valid appeal so the businesses involve go outside of business. Getting employees to leave glowing reviews is up there with some shady tactics. Who feels that passionately about taking out insurance they leave glowing reviews like you’ve had, all in a couple of days? Stay away.
