GBHiscox is unfair in its dealings to loyal customers After waiting six months on my claim for damaged done to my custom double doors during a delivery from Lowes in August 2023, Hiscox made an offer today and the amount does NOT cover all expenses. As instructed, I got an estimate from two companies. I only submitted one. Only for them to tell me they will NOT pay all of it. Tell me how does a loyal customer whose door was damaged during a delivery is in any way financially responsible? That's like me damaging the other door in my set and then calling Hiscox telling them to pay for the damage I call. This is robbery and very unfair. I waited six long months only to be duped again by a company that advertises that it is so good. Please. They should close.

GBHiscox canceled my E+O policy after 10… Hiscox canceled my E+O policy after 10 years of coverage, due to 2 claims being submitted in one year. I was able to secure coverage from a competitor within 30 minutes.

GBDo not use this insurer. Do not use this insurer. Failed to pay valid claims and is drawing out the process of a valid appeal so the businesses involve go outside of business. Getting employees to leave glowing reviews is up there with some shady tactics. Who feels that passionately about taking out insurance they leave glowing reviews like you’ve had, all in a couple of days? Stay away.

GBAwful - dishonourable to customers. Avoid. Awful. Would not recommend at all. Business policy proved to be pointless. We had stolen goods. It was a completely legitimate claim. Didn't pay out. Hiscox used a 3rd party assessor - they used every small technicality to dispute and deny the claim. Its ruined the annual profits of the business. Don't use them. We honestly dont know how these people sleep at night.

GBRecommended. Not cheap but great service. I see there are several bad reviews - but I have good good experiences. Responsive, helpful - abd said out when I did not expect. This is home - building & contents. Three claims. One was a stolen bike: paid immediately. Two of them I did not know if it was covered and was not sure about claiming at all. In both cases threy said they would consider it, discussed internally, called back the next day to say they were paying. I have had other insurers where I always felt I was arguing abd then being turned down on a technicality - this was the opposite. They are not the cheapest - but why sound money on an insurance company who refuse to pay you what is owed?
