GBDo not use this insurer. Do not use this insurer. Failed to pay valid claims and is drawing out the process of a valid appeal so the businesses involve go outside of business. Getting employees to leave glowing reviews is up there with some shady tactics. Who feels that passionately about taking out insurance they leave glowing reviews like you’ve had, all in a couple of days? Stay away.

GBRecommended. Not cheap but great service. I see there are several bad reviews - but I have good good experiences. Responsive, helpful - abd said out when I did not expect. This is home - building & contents. Three claims. One was a stolen bike: paid immediately. Two of them I did not know if it was covered and was not sure about claiming at all. In both cases threy said they would consider it, discussed internally, called back the next day to say they were paying. I have had other insurers where I always felt I was arguing abd then being turned down on a technicality - this was the opposite. They are not the cheapest - but why sound money on an insurance company who refuse to pay you what is owed?

GBScam artists that won't cancel your policies What a pathetic company that cons its customers, I've seen insurance companies doing everything to grab a penny but not like them. I called on December 29th to cancel all of my policies because of business closure, they played a clever trick on me and only cancelled one of the policies, a month later I notice the charges and called again to find out they didn't cancel both the general and professional liability policies. Well I submit the request again and to date it back to 29 Dec 2023, they never took any action and kept charging me. First week of March 2024 comes and I speak to a guy who was very nice, he said he'll submit the cancellation and date it back to 12/29/23 well the next day I get the charge again. This is is March 13th, 2024 and I call again to check on the cancellation and the fraudulent charges and guess what they still tell me it hasn't been cancelled and the guy says it is now approved back to 26 Feb 2024 effective cancellation, I told him the last guys said it should date back to Dec 29th, 2023 but nothing, so they can scam you out for pennies but you don't have any value with them as a customer, never going to use them ever again!

GBUnprofessional and unethical company I had to submit a claim in 2018. It took Hiscox 2 years to deal with the repairs, terrible experience of having poor works done by two different companies. They finally offered me a settlement as they were unable to finish the repairs. The costs put against the claim were way higher that they should have been, and included works which were needed due to damage caused by their ‘cowboy’ builders as well as compensation costs for the appalling service. When I cancelled my policy they took out my payment for the month after cancellation.
