GBRequested General liability policy Requested General liability policy, and coverage for my tools, and that I planned on buying a trailer to store my tools and when I did I would want it covered. I was told everything was good and sent a cost and immediately paid it because we had work waiting. Being busy we didn't notice we never got a copy of our policy. After 6 months of "having our policy" our trailer was stolen with all of our tools, $65,000. We tried contacting the agent my phone, and email. Finally fed up we called and requested to speak to anyone that could help. They didn't even have a copy of our policy and asked us for it and we said we never received anything we thought it was normal that they were handling all of our paperwork. Bolt had to call the insurance company to finally get a copy of our policy...seems like our agent dropped the ball big time. To then find out the policies we requested, weren't even on our policy and the company states we never requested such policies. As "all their calls are recorded" I requested all phone calls between us and bolt. 3 weeks later we are still wondering what kind of company would do this to a small business. Like the name says when you hear Bolt...you need to Bolt, because they do not care about their customers.

GBQuick Response I did not encounter "friction" until after I made my down payment. Ed was very helpful in getting me signed up. However, after he turned my account over to the service reps, I encountered a major timing issue receiving my certificate of insurance. Thanks to Maureen the issue was resolved and I got my certificate the same afternoon (1 week after my original request). My experience dealing with Ed and Maureen gets 5 stars. Unfortunately, they were not the only people to handle my acct; therefore, as a whole I rate my experience as a three.

GBThis company is HORRIBLE! This company is HORRIBLE!! They have cost us THOUSANDS Because of their terrible customer service!! Our next step is a lawyer. They wrote our policy wrong and won’t fix it. We were charged almost 12,000 for THEIR screw up. No help at all. Can’t believe they still have customers.

GBGood/Bad Too many hoops to go through. These guys are the middleman between K&K insurance and I still have not yet been contacted by the company I'm paying. Not a very good experience for small business insurance.

GBnot good I have been trying to get insurance through bolt for my small business. The gentleman I was working with was not rude but has very poor communication skills. Its been over a week and still nothing. I call and says ill call you back and never does. Im going to go with a different insurance company!
