The agents are always friendly and welcoming given all the times we've called! The service call is only $75 and it could be replaced if they can't fix it. We love that HSC values our long tradition of using something until it is really useles..

They underwrite Choice Home Warrant in… They underwrite Choice Home Warranty in California. Both Home Service Club and Choice are scams. I requested service for covered item. They did not find a provider and emailed that I could find one and that they would reimburse minuse the service fee. Lies,scam, and thief's. Thr provider provided some info saying he did not work for these crooks. Claim denied within 5 minutes. Of course appeal was no better. In California Choice is licensed by Home Service Club. Scammers——-Do Not Buy ——- This will be referred to Attorney General's office in California. See Arizona Class Action Suit against Choice. Scammers and bullies. I will not tolerate this manipulation. I paid 875.00 for the service and 1700 for a multi year plan for nothing. What’s up Home Service Club and Choice Home warranty??? Business model- Promise a lot, and deny coverage as much as possible. Truly reprehensible!

THEY KEPT PROMISING A TECHNICIAN WILL ARRIVE. SO FAR, IT IS JUST AN EMPTY PROMISE. THE WORST HOME WARRANTY INSURANCE I EVER DEALT WITH. AND THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHEN YOU CALL THEM, THEY TELL YOU HOW SORRY THEY ARE ABOUT YOUR SITUATION, THEY SAY THEY CAN NOT FIND A TECHNICIAN TO DO THE REPAIRS. THE QUESTION IS: IF A WARRANTY COMPANY DOES NOT HAVE TECHNICIANS TO DO THE REPAIRS, HOW DOES THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA ALLOW THEM TO BE LICENSED IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. THESE COMPANIES CHARGE CUSTOMERS THEIR MONTHLY FEE BUT, WHEN IT COMES TO REPAIRS, THEY ACT AS IF THEY DON'T KNOW YOU, AND THEY KNOW THAT THEY DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER TO ANY AUTHORITIES. I FILED WITH THE CALIFORNIA INSURANCE COMMISSIONER, THIS OFFICE IS JUST A NAME, THEY DON'T HAVE ANY AUTHORITY OVER SCAMMERS LIKE THESE WARRANTY COMPANIES.

I am a real customer I am a real customer, with HSC policies on THREE different properties, based on these reviews. These reviews must be fake or bot generated. Customer Service agents are customer facing, answer the phone but know nothing and have to 'contact the proper department'. 5 of my 6 issues were not covered (sink faucets, shower valves, slow draining sink's) . Once you file a claim on-line, there is no way to check status on-line without calling in, to those same polite but unhelpful agents. NOTE that the $65 call out fee is for diagnostics, even if your issue isn't covered. The work won't be done the day the technician finally arrives, but instead will be scheduled later, and only if Home Warranty Club approves the claim. (1675) 281400 (2712) 281402 (24) 281405

Its now september Its now september; this began in may. home service club still won't replace freezer, even though two of their technicians said freezer is shot. And now home service won't even return phone calls. we are forced to get a lawyer and report to better business bureau and california dept of insurance. What are we to think? what can we do? we are now facing an organization that appears to be in scam mode. we hope this reaches people thinking of joining home service club.
