GBWow, Really Tin Leg I bought travel insurance with Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. On my Vacation I had a Nile River Cruise booked and "Viator/Trip Advisor" canceled my cruise without explanation. Tin Leg is denying my claim because they don't have a reason why it was canceled. I would think the emails stating the canceled cruise would explain it all. I'll be back to update this review if anything changes. As of 7-3-2022 Tin leg is not communicating at all to resolve what I bought this insurance for. I'll be back to update any Positive or Negative results.

GBDO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY What this company does is tantamount to theft. They happily took my money for the policy, and they have never paid out on my claim for delayed luggage. They passed me off to some third party for processing, I have supplied all of the requested documentation, and NOTHING - SIX MONTHS LATER. They just hope people will go away and give up? Disgusting. If you call, they "escalate" your case, but still NOTHING. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

GBPoor service from Tin Leg I purchased a travel policy for a very expensive safari to Tanzania. I posted a small claim, about 5%, of the total amount insured for extra expenses incurred when a regional flight from Kilimanjaro to Nairobi was reschedule 2 hours later than planned and would have caused me to miss my flight back to the US. I had to reschedule on a different airline an earlier flight. I found out about the change by email the night before departure and spent 3 hours in the bush trying to get through and have never been able to. I have submitted the requested information 4 times to Tin Leg and each time they ask for more including policies from the small Kenyan airline which I have explained doesn't exist. I provide a letter of explanation from the Travel Agent in S Africa that booked the whole trip verifying the details of the problem. The ball keeps moving. Do NOT insure your trip with Tin Leg.

GBWaste of money and time! Waste of money and time! After having to cut short trip to middle east due to Hamas invasion on Israel, I had to alter travel plans that were "supposed" to be covered by my expensive Tinleg travel insurance. It is now 5 months since I have submitted my claim, 5 (five!) different interchanges with their claims department wanting more and more information. The latest request was to see a copy of our boarding pass from our shortened trip!!! Shameful!

GBRepetitively asking for same… Repetitively asking for same information, claims filed last year and still asking for same. If at all possible for no star, or broken star, would award same. Perhaps they have all the time to waste asking for same information, but I QUIT!!!
