It has been very time consuming to deal… It has been very time consuming to deal with them. My contractor and I had to have numerous phone calls with them.I just called again for update on my status. The response was "We have been trying to call you", but it is interesting that my cell phone shows no calls received lately from them. Next, I just don't understand why our a/c unit replacement is not being reimbursed at the maximum of $2,250. At a cost of over $16,000 dollars, we are not even getting the maximum amount allowed. We have been loyal APHW customers since 2016 and maintained our system with regular maintenance checkups.

Don't purchase this warranty Don't purchase this warranty! Complete scam. We had a faucet issue. Called for approval, the plumber spoke with the representative and told them the exact costs and they said the claim was approved and to send a copy of the final bill when completed. We sent and out of a $1207.11 invoice they sent $200 because they said that's all it "should" have costed. When speaking with them, they unilaterally get to decide what something should cost even if the plumber gave them his costs for the visit to find the problem and the cost of repairing and then the cost of the new "comparable" faucet. $200 really for a plumber to come out twice and the cost of a high end lav faucet. Live and learn but NEVER use them if you are smart enough to look at their reviews first. We were not! Went with a plan from a realtor!

SCAM-SCAM-SCAM-SCAM. I AM A REALTOR WITH 25 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, I HATE THAT I HAVE SOLD/ASSIGNED THESE TO MY CLIENTS AND PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT MYSELF. RUNNNNNN DON'T WALK RUN AWAY FROM SELLING THIS WARRANTY. THIS IS A SCAM.

I can only say ditto to all of the… I can only say ditto to all of the other scammed customers that got taken with this warranty company. I wish ABC News would do a story about all of the loopholes this company uses to get out of paying claims taking advantage of people who don’t have money to waste on bogus coverage.

APHW will not Pay! If i could, i would put a negative 5 stars. The oven is supposed to be covered. As of inspection, it was working. Oven failed and we called contractor as instructed. Contractor stated oven failed and no replacement parts are available due to partial serial/model number and age of oven/range. America's Preferred Home Warranty will not cover replacement nor pay the contractor for diagnosis as our contract specifies. They keep saying give us an estimate for replacement parts. Per the contractor, "NO parts are available for this unit, the oven/range has to be replaced." America's Preferred will not pay for anything. Total Scam
