GBOutrageous demands for claim approval Garbage disposal leaked out bottom of motor. Contractor told them seal likely failed. Claim was not approved because the contractor could not state why seal failed without tearing apart the disposal. I guess if lightning strikes my HVAC the claim will not be approved unless the bad weather can be explained, and why lightning struck my compressor instead of my neighbors.

GBTotal scam Total scam. Hidden rules and deceitful advertising. Everyone can see your award winning customer service by reading your reviews. I have worked with 3 home warranty companies in the past ten years and they are by far the worst.

GBThis a follow up from an earlier review… This a follow up from an earlier review After I voice my frustration with APHW they contacted me. I will say that the reimbursement process was easy and like they said they would I was reimbursed sooner than the 7 to 10 days I was told to allow. I felt better from my earlier experience. So for that I want to thank them.

GBIt has been very time consuming to deal… It has been very time consuming to deal with them. My contractor and I had to have numerous phone calls with them.I just called again for update on my status. The response was "We have been trying to call you", but it is interesting that my cell phone shows no calls received lately from them. Next, I just don't understand why our a/c unit replacement is not being reimbursed at the maximum of $2,250. At a cost of over $16,000 dollars, we are not even getting the maximum amount allowed. We have been loyal APHW customers since 2016 and maintained our system with regular maintenance checkups.

GBBUYERS BEWARE - I Don’t Recommend My garage door drive belt failed due to age, wear, and tear. Policy stated it covers the garage door drive mechanism as well as the chain. Claim was denied because they only cover chains, not drive belts. They both do the exact same thing, only a drive belt is much quieter. Furthermore the drive belt is part of the garage door drive mechanism. Without a functioning intact drive belt the door does not move unless you lift or lower it manually. In spite of trying to explain this the company refused to change their decision as they only cover chains and not belts in spite of them both serving the exact same function. So BUYERS BEWARE - this company will not apply common sense and logic when evaluating a claim. They will stick to the EXACT wording in their warranty/policy brochure.
