CARBC is absolutely disgusting and their… RBC is absolutely disgusting and their policy’s make no sense. I have been doing business with them for 3+ years and I wanted to increase my credit limit from 1000 to 3000 and they wanted 3000 cash for collateral. Criminal. I have a great credit score for my age (21). They preach how they help small businesses but fail to do so. I hope no future small businesses does business with this criminal organization again.

CAI visited this branch today and… I visited this branch today and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with one of the attendants. Despite being visibly pregnant and in need of assistance, the staff refused to attend to me and directed me to join the long queue. As a pregnant woman, standing for extended periods can be uncomfortable and even potentially harmful. It was disheartening to see a racism at play and a lack of consideration for customers' needs from a woman, especially when it comes to basic accessibility and empathy. I believe that customer service should prioritize the well-being of all clients, particularly those who may require additional assistance due to their circumstances. I hope that they will take steps to improve their customer service policies and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and consideration, regardless of their situation. Pregnant women, along with other vulnerable groups, deserve to feel valued and supported during their interactions with the bank.

AUWorst Bank In Canada Worst Bank In Canada. I unfortunately became an RBC customer following HSBC Canada's departure. Roughly two weeks later, I receive a cold email from them asking me about my tax residency. I called RBC to ask some questions about the form and I was treated like an idiot during the call. I told the RBC employee on the call that his answers were not helping me and he became very arrogant and said bye-bye and hung up the phone. Unbelievable! My parents were previously RBC clients and when my father passed away, they gave my mom an unbelievable hassle to handle my dad's accounts. At that time I was not an RBC client, but was helping my mom handle matters related to my father. I asked the RBC employee why she was making everything extra difficult and she said she was following policy. A few months later my mom went to RBC to withdraw her funds from the account and the teller inquired why. My mom replied that it was due to a horrible experience dealing with RBC. The teller didn't respond and handed my mom her funds. In the end my mom moved all her business to Scotia Bank and was treated with dignity and trust. Overall, RBC treats their clients like criminals and morons. I never thought a bank would cause my life so much drama and the sad part is that even though the RBC employees know you are unsatisfied they just ignore it.

CAIs it just me or did most banks stop… Is it just me or did most banks stop doing the job they have been put in place to do? Or here's a good one. My wife and I in June attempted to buy our first home. I tried to borrow 20k over 20 years with 5k down. I had an existing load balance for the valve of 7k remaining. The bank, this bank to be exact, RBC said. You need to pay off the loan and then we would approve you. So I did just that. The next morning I get an email from the broker saying we had been denied. That hit different! Fwd to December of the same year only 5 months later we needed a new or more powerful truck for our landscaping business. December being a busy month both winter and the holiday season. My mind was a bit per occupied and I wasn't paying much attention to what the dealership cooked up. But really that not here nor there if you think about it. Everything they lied about should have been caught by the bank considering they were about to lend me 5 times what I want less than 6 months ago! Nope missed every single one. Including the drivers license number not being a license at all and just my ID number. Yes I am 40 years old and have never had my license not even my learners. That's a story for another day though. Well I got approved for this loan of $105K. Absolutely insane and makes no sense whatsoever. Unless the bank like the dealership are doing things to intentionally hurt you this makes no sense. Yes I absolutely missed some payments as I couldn't afford this truck but I do need it for my business so I tried to get a second opinion and they happened to find 25K in an extended warranty I didn't need so I canceled it and was in contact with RBC about what has happened why payments were late and what my intentions were. The representative I spoke with agreed this was a good idea to pay off my outstanding balance and put towards my equity. Then continue to try to keep up with my payments and someday much sooner now lower the payments. Well I guess while we were waiting for this check to arrive, someone had decided to change the plan and set in motion the report of my truck. During this time from when this choice was made and them coming to repo the truck. The cheque came I had no idea what was transpiring as I thought we made a deal and went to an RBC to deposit the cheque. 2 days later they showed up a took the truck. I am at such a loss now. Like I don't even know what to do. If I want the truck back I need to provide paperwork I can't legally obtain because I don't have my license. These documents are in my wife's name and her name isn't on the loan papers. Professional malpractice at its finest if I do say so myself. Guess I should probably find a lawyer, this one's about to get wild!
