CATerrible services I gave one start because I could not give a negative one. RBC’s system did not perform well with the merger with HSBC. None of my preset payments went through on the April 1st. I went to the branch, contacted my account manager, related staff in RBC, no one really helps …no real person at call center… it’s shameful this largest Canadian bank. It is even embracing its CEO boasted to media saying the bank will put the clients on priority… anyway, today is April 11, RBC still cannot give me a timeline when the problem will be solved.

CAMy visa card got hacked while visiting… My visa card got hacked while visiting Europe , so they text me to verify some transaction and asked me to call. Called 4 times and each time waiting 30 minutes on line and after 15 minutes interrogation, finally they said they have to cancel the card , and they will send me one to my adress , waited for 3 weeks but I received nothing , I called again , waiting in line and detailed interrogation again , they said sorry they don’t know what happened and they will send me by courrier within 2 days , waited for a week and received nothing!!!! Called again went through the whole process again !!!! They said will send you the card by ups , should get it within 2 days !!!lost faith

CAWorst bank ever! I am a HSBC customer cutover to RBC. The cutover has been the WORST EXPERIENCE for me with any bank. Problems have been an everyday event. Regardless of cutover related problems RBC's etransfer using Android is a persistent problem. I just does not work. I suggest RBC employees to resign enmasse and move to another bank because RBC is due to shut down as customers like me will talk with moving their money to another better bank. That said, why would RBC not be the worst bank in Canada when its CFO was busy having an affair with one of her junior employees!

CAWEBSITE SUCKS My local bramch is good, but Direct investing sucks, stay away, The web page is an abomination written by some student that knows nothig about investing or what is needed by the customer. Tried too sell a bond it would not let me, had to call support 1 hr later they had to find a price significantly lower than what was shown on the active account, then it was, call back tomorrow to make the trade over the phone. Stay AWAY,

CAAbsolutely the worst banking experience… Absolutely the worst banking experience ever!!! They don’t even deserve a 1 star rating. Steer clear do your research before opening an bank account there are options for no fee accounts in Canada
