contract needs more clarity! I broke a tooth on a river cruise and went to an emergency dentist who did what he could for me, but said I would have to go to the dentist when I got home. He charged a small amount of money to grind my tooth down to keep from biting my tongue every time I spoke, but I needed a crown would have to come back to France to have it finished. I went to the dentist at home, got the crown, and submitted tons of paperwork to InsureandGo. They paid $30.00 for the dentist in France and nothing for the dentist here. It cost me $24.00 to copy all the pages of information and send them the whole report via certified mail. I was told by their rep, when I was in France that it would be completely covered, but when I returned home, they denied it. They were also supposed to get me an appointment with a dentist in France, but the ship wound up doing it because they never called back.

What a poor use of technology in the 21st century. Lack of response is awful! For Pete's sake - this is NOT 1980 - I shouldn't have to write out every single lost item in my luggage by hand instead of simply uploading an excel spreadsheet with all the required info. And a receipt for every single thing lost in my luggage? Every pair of underwear, comb, brush and bar of soap? So the airlines will only cover a small portion and they require original receipts. And then the "great insurance" only covers a small portion but they want the same original receipts. Obviously I am going to get the short end of the stick. Also there is a long list of things that are covered in the policy, but when you try to file a claim, there is no form on the website for all the things they supposedly cover. Where's the missed cruise connection claim form? Where's the travel delay form? How about the claim for missed pre-paid shore excursions? I was told that if we email with questions we would get a response in 48 hours. NOT! And really, am I the only unhappy customer? All the reviews are so positive. Find that just a little hard to believe.

Can not contact a human on a business day I have a trip scheduled and insured leaving in 2 days. I need to add a day to my coverage prior to departing. Called on Tuesday 5/30 several times and can not get thru to a human. Recording says closed for the holiday! The holiday was yesterday, Monday, May 29. Go to the website and there's a big notice that insureandgousa is not selling travel policies! ???? I bought and paid for this policy in June 2016 for travel June 2017 and I cant get a response from anyone. God forbid I need to make a claim. If I need to make a claim and cant get a response, I WILL file a lawsuit.

Did not contact me I purchased a policy in October of 2015 for a trip in September 2016. My trip was canceled and another trip was given to me for the same price. I emailed Insure and Go twice and received a confirmation message saying someone would contact me. No one contacted me either time. I eventually called and was helped by Jared who helped me change my policy. Jared did a good job, but I am irritated that no one ever contacted me.
