GBInsurance did not pay the claim After speaking to the insurance's local representative and filing the proper paperwork, the claim has still not been paid and it is 5 months later already.

GBDon't trust insureandgo to treat you fairly or honestly. Medical emergency forced and early return home from Sydney, Australia in Feb. 2016. Contacted insureandgo with no real help. Bought a ticket home to receive immediate medical care that was not available in Sydney. They reimbursed me for the ticket (they would not purchase) but then would not pay for my pre-paid non-refundable scheduled trip home. Said, "they already refunded me for my ticket". Subtracted the reimbursement once from my emergency ticket and THEN AGAIN from cost of my package trip return airfair cost. Nice way (crooked) to save paying non-refundable costs they say they cover. Impossible to contact and they will not return calls. Say they will pay then don't. Don't deal with them.

GBFrustrate purchasing at InsureandGo I called 3 times to find a real person to talk to since their office closes at 6 PM eastern time, it is our time at 3 PM. The communication between the representative and me was poor. I was hard to understand what she said. Even worse was she asked me which date I paid for my air tickets. How can I remember? I've never been asked this question before at previous 6 purchases. Why need this? I did not finish my second person's purchase since it took me a long time for myself's policy. Later, I called the InsureMyTrip agent. The purchase was much smoother and easier. It only took me a short time to finish the another person's policy purchase. Their office opens to midnight.

IEDuplicitous Outfit A fine insurance company so long as you never need to make a claim. We had a day's delay due to a Ryanair strike, which insureandgo declined stating that the strike was announced in advance. Of course no strike had been announced in advance on the route we were travelling, or we wouldn't have turned up at the airport along with the other 500 passengers travelling Ryanair on the two departing flights. This company has a policy of denying claims, it would seem.

GBWhat a poor use of technology in the 21st century. Lack of response is awful! For Pete's sake - this is NOT 1980 - I shouldn't have to write out every single lost item in my luggage by hand instead of simply uploading an excel spreadsheet with all the required info. And a receipt for every single thing lost in my luggage? Every pair of underwear, comb, brush and bar of soap? So the airlines will only cover a small portion and they require original receipts. And then the "great insurance" only covers a small portion but they want the same original receipts. Obviously I am going to get the short end of the stick. Also there is a long list of things that are covered in the policy, but when you try to file a claim, there is no form on the website for all the things they supposedly cover. Where's the missed cruise connection claim form? Where's the travel delay form? How about the claim for missed pre-paid shore excursions? I was told that if we email with questions we would get a response in 48 hours. NOT! And really, am I the only unhappy customer? All the reviews are so positive. Find that just a little hard to believe.
