Rude, disrespectful threaten to cancel when I'm paid? On a scale from 0 to 10, and zero being the worst, then this company rates a minus zero for customer service. Last Friday Patrick: if you don't pay your premium by the 10th even though your policy is good though the 24th I will cancel you for non payment ? NJDOBI thinks NOT. Don extremely unprofessional. For new auto the woman who basically told me to be quiet and raised her voice to the point I had to hang up. Tells you how important you will be as a customer. Gets worse. Amanda " weeeellll if yo had given e your name and information so I could pull you up in the system I would have transferred you to manager. That is who Ismael said he would transfer me directly to a Manager. SHE DID NOT TRANSFER ME. Then comes Sofia oh dear God. She was in escalations!!!! after listening to this litany of horrible rudeness she asks" WHAT IS IT I CAN DO FOR YOU???? Really. She was colder than an iceberg. I hope anyone reading this and observing the whopping 2 star rating knows this is not a company you want to give your money to. I was not even calling with a claim or complain and I went through this nightmare. God forbid calling in a claim. Overall I would pay more and lose the verbal abuse, incompetence and unprofessional conduct. Notice there is no option to reach the CEO of this company. RED Flag

Beware! Thievery. Purchased homeowners with LM when we bought our house about 6 1/2 years ago. At that time it was around $2400/year. It has gone up DRAMATICALLY year after year, currently at $6794, AND just got a notice they were going to raise it another $2k. We have never had a claim. Unreal. Just switched to another company with the same coverage for $2700. LM's exorbitant rate increases should be illegal.

After using Liberty Mutual for over 14… After using Liberty Mutual for over 14 years, we called and asked if we were eligible for any types of discounts because 1) my husband and I had just retired and 2) we never missed a payment nor ever put in a claim. We were told no. So, we decided to shop around and found a policy for three vehicles, a house, camper, and motorcycle for about $800 less. We called Liberty and told them we were going to cancel our policy; they, in turn, said that since we just paid for the month of March, we should wait until April 6th for the next billing cycle. So, we made the end date on the 6th. Lo and behold, we get a bill for $495.00, and after calling Liberty, we were told that we pay our insurance a month in arrears and because we live in North Carolina, they can charge us a cancellation fee. After going back and forth, we are still flabbergasted with how we are being treated. Our new insurance, Allstate, is also shocked that Liberty Mutual would do this. Buyers beware!

Negligent Company Liberty mutual emailed me a bunch of confirmation emails, mailed me a certificate of automotive insurance, but turns out they lied to me and the insurance was cancelled. I only found out because i logged into the website to print a new insurance card and it had no mention of my auto insurance. no error messages, warnings. i called support and they said it had been cancelled, and made me start all the way over again with taking all my info like i was a new customer. last time that call took 30 min. after being 10 min through i said "you know what, i don't have time for this, good bye" and hung out. i turned on the tesla app on my phone and turned back on their insurance without talking to a human. it took me about 4 minutes and didnt require entering any new payments, address, driving history. its such a beautiful user experience. i've been a Liberty Mutual customer for 5 years, including car insurance, but they act like im a new customer everytime i get on a call with them. so embarrassing for that company.

Laid complaint with the ombudsman If I could give them zero star, I would! The worse insurance company to invest with. I have been asking for my educator fund to pay school fees for my daughter for over a week, I was told it will take 48hrs then when I call I’m sold some lady by the name Lebogang Mogadime is handling my file. Every time I call he/she is not available, I’m given the run around, I’ve wasted so much airtime calling them. I’m done, I’ve filed a complaint with the ombudsman!!!
