GBThe tastytrade customer support team… The tastytrade customer support team are excellent. I had a put credit spread that was expiring ITM, both legs, and they told me my options in very easy to understand manner. Since it was a defined trade, it worked.

GBChoose Tasty Are you kidding? Love the platform, traders and customer service. Stephen fantastic work! I had a slight problem and a few questions and Stephen was Johnny on the spot explaining the situation and adjusting verticals at my request , live. Same for the folks at the trade room. Highly recommend especially if your TOS transition to Schwabe isnt going so well. Why put up with it. Choose Tasty, Tom's doing great work over there!

GBCustomer Service Sucks! I've been trading with Tastytrade since 2017. Although I do like their platform I have found their fills to be fairly poor versus Schwab's who I find exceptional. The worst thing I find about Tastytrade is their customer service. When you call them for ANYTHING expect to wait several minutes before a live person answers your call. So if you're trading and need to speak to someone quickly good luck because it won't happen and they could care less. They recommend to EMAIL their support team. What a joke! I see on the reviews their basic reply is "Thanks for your review and sorry to hear about your experience!" hahaha Just don't ever expect any changes. When calling them in February, I finally got so fed up with their customer service that I transferred 95% of my money to my Schwab account. I kept some money in there so I can use their option chain as it is very easy to read versus other platforms including Schwab's thinkorswim platform. But Tastytrade's customer service couldn't lick Schwab's boots when it comes to customer service. Tastytrade has to be the worst in regards to customer service of any legitimate broker around.

GBMoved to Tasty in 2023 Moved all my accounts to Tasty in 2023 and haven't looked back. Their trading tools are fast, intuitive and consistent across all platforms. Their chat, email and phone support are extremely responsive and friendly. Overall, their dedication to the retail trader are amazing. And their education arm, TastyLive is HUGE benefit as well.

IEHaving opened an account with… Having opened an account with Tastytrade in January this year, I went on to fund it finally some weeks ago. Although the platform is quite good, despite being buggy at times, my trading experience was horrendous. Days after placing my first trade, my account was set to 'closing only'. When I inquired as to why this was, a member of the trade desk informed me it was because I was 'placing uneconomical trades'. My primary strategy involves trading deep in the money vertical and calendar spreads, because one is able to use low margin, and avail of high profitably for such trades. I asked them to reset my account to place trades again, to which they obliged but only on condition I no longer used these strategies that they didn't like. All the while feeling like a scorned child, and email correspondence that was very dicatatory in tone from customer service. However, when I began trading again, this time using closer to the money trades, albeit somewhat still ITM, I managed to have a diagonal spread fill 5 contracts for a very small risk yesterday, that I also managed to close out for a profit of $820. Then I received an email from Tastytrade again, informing me that because I went against company policy by implementing such trades, my account was again set to closing only and effectively closed. My next step is withdrawing my legitimate profits from my account, and seeking a worthwhile broker whom appreciates my business, and will not excessively micromanage my account in such a ridiculous way. I do not recommend Tastytrade to anyone. Steer clear of this very underhanded brokerage!!
