GBI just found out Brightpeak shut their… I just found out Brightpeak shut their doors in 2019. I called Thrivent and inquired and Googled while on hold and found that they closed the company. Now my question is what happen to the monthly premium I was paying?

GBThe process to get disability was slow The process to get disability was quick at first and then very slow. I applied online so didn't have a representative but when I would email the account manager it would take days to get a response. I wish that the process had been a little more transparent. It was decent service.

GBDone, but in silence My application is complete, and is what I asked for - though I literally heard nothing through the process. I was contacted about the medical exam, however, when I called for an update, I got routed to the underwriters voice mail and never heard anything from them, a couple of months later I was issued a policy - though I am not sure they have actually set up a schedule for payment... so, in the end I have what I wanted, but dont seem to have many details, nor a physical copy of my policy...

GBGood Luck accessing your account. I opened an account online and tried for 3 days to log in, only getting error messages. It kept sending me to a Together site. I contacted them and they could not help, telling me that the together site was not them, but when I typed in Brightpeak, that was the screen that always came up. After multiple emails I finally just gave up. If I can't even get into the account to finish setting it up, how safe are my funds. I have other online accounts with no issues.

GBI picked the 90 day elimation period… I picked the 90 day elimation period before my disability policy paid my first payment and the 90 days is already came and passed and still no payment so I'm not sure why your plans premium is based on your elimation period if bright peak just pays when they get ready yet I'm still having to pay my policy premium I guess my next step is seeking legal counsel
