GBI tried the online chat and eventually … I tried the online chat and eventually had to place 2 phone calls over a period of 4 weeks to get a savings account completely set up. The process was more frustrating than other banks or credit unions to get a savings account set up. I think the problem was that I had an existing relationship with the credit union prior to joining brightpeak but considering that brightpeak is associated with the credit union you would think they had already considered this possibility. Everything is working now so I am happy with the outcome but I wish the process had been smoother.

GBDiscriminatory Practices I got an offer to open a savings account with up to $200 bonus, so I clicked on it. I was immediately informed that I didn't meet the requirements because I am not a Christian. I'm glad I got the information before I opened the account. I certainly don't want to give my money to anyone who thinks I'm not worthy because I don't share the same beliefs. It is discriminatory, prejudicial, and ignorant. Take your money to a business that is concerned with their clients' finances as opposed to their religious beliefs.

GBAgree with Holly Thanks for checking this out Holly. I almost opened an account. When everyone decides to stop doing business where lines are drawn along religious boundaries maybe the message will be heard. I got their name from a Penny Hoarder artcle. I hope they don't share these beliefs.
