GBOk but a little disappointed The person who assisted me was good and helpful however the appraisal was inaccurate to me and I really didn’t get to do what I wanted as I didn’t get enough funds because of appraisal. The house was appraised at 257K while my neighbor who has the same size house as me sold his house two weeks later at 379K. I just needed an extra 10,000 to do a fence but I think the appraisal could have been better. However I do appreciate the help I got but it could have been better.

GBUnison was wonderful to work with Unison was wonderful to work with. We were a bit nervous about the co-investor concept, but out point of contact very patiently walked through all of the details, the important things to be aware of, and the necessary info and timelines involved. I would highly recommend speaking with the team at Unison before looking at HELOCs, simply to get all of your options. We're glad we did.

GBOverall pleasant experience. Overall pleasant experience. Only thing was my agent went on vacation during the underwriting process so it took longer then anticipated. Once everything was signed and notarized it took less then a week until the agreed Value showed up on my bank account. Now I got the down payment on hand to secure my dream-house / retirement property without worrying about an incredible high interest rate/ mortgage.

GBI agree with the previous customer I agree with the previous customer that it’s very difficult to refinance with any lender , because of Unison terms and condition. It was extremely difficult to find any lender that c would touc this loan. I wished i would’ve stuck with a traditional 2nd loan. Believe me less drama and headaches. I missed out on the low rate train and had to stick with my current rate Also when unison completed their appraisal ( with a 3rd party 😉) it was lower than other comps in my neighborhood. Highly advised using other avenues.

GBRefinancing after partnering with Unison!! We purchased a house with Unison in March 2020. We had our plan worked out which included refinancing the mortgage. We were told by Steven that many Unison Clients do exactly that. When it became time to refinance Unison provided a list of lenders they said were successful in refinancing. Well, ALL of the lenders on the Unison list refused to refinance because the loan was not saleable on the open market. Unison do you work with lenders that will refinance? Can you take an more active role other than subordinating the lien?
