PLAF005 Automatic Cat Feeder Poor Quality Purchased PLAF005 from Amazon, worked perfectly for 14 months in one position, then went into continuous alarm with error code E-00. Support went though a number of things including me to source another power supply, no difference. Support offer to replace inside the 12 months but after the year the most you will get is a 20% refund for a completely non working product. Upon investigation, poor quality electronics as resistor had come away from control board, expensive item for one years use.

The feeder works great The feeder works great, I feel comfortable enough to leave my fur babies alone for a while without worrying they going to go hungry, if something happens and I'm late coming home. Just ordered the water fountain, soon they won't run out of water till I get home.

Product malfunctioned and received customer service We bought a Petlibro Granary automatic feeder for our cats at the beginning of last summer from Amazon. A couple of months ago the audio gave out and sounded like terrible static, which our cats did not like. I contacted customer service about this issue and how it was covered under the warranty. They made this process very difficult, they would suggest one very involved “troubleshooting” step in each email and imply they would then send a replacement unit, only to ask us to perform another troubleshooting step in the email. We complied and sent evidence of the persistent issue, and after about 5 back and forth emails, they said they would finally be sending a replacement unit and had the audacity to send a PART of the device, so we had to disassemble the whole unit to install the replacement part. Bad customer service and doesn’t give us much faith in the products, would recommend finding a more customer-focused automatic feeder brand.

I returned this I returned this. It was not very heavy at all; in fact, much too lightweight. But the thing that made me decide to return this item was that in the care and instructions, it said that a filter and something else needed to be changed every two weeks. Nothing extra came with it so I’m assuming you would have to find that online and then buy them as well.
