GBThe most patient, helpful team! As a graphic designer, I am the first to admit that I would rather focus my time on creative projects than bookkeeping and taxes. Outsourcing those tasks to Collective the last couple years has been one of my best business decisions. It gave me time back to focus on the parts of my business I LOVE, while knowing that all of my business financial ducks are in a row with Collective managing it all. Their team of experts is so incredibly patient with all of my questions and helped me form my LLC/S Corp seamlessly. I have had the best experience with their services and highly recommend them to any small business soloprenuer. 100% worth the investment.

GBHUGE mistake using Collective - avoid at all costs Using Collective has been by far the biggest tax mistake I've made for my business. I've lost a large portion of my income due to straight up bad advice that Collective provided me with and took no accountability for. They are impossible to communicate with, don't give clear or timely answers, and consistently make mistakes. This is the last thing I wanted to deal with when running a business, this company is borderline fraudulent and I'm considering legal action it's so disastrous. I still can't get a response from them.

GBTrustworthy and good business practive I wanted to note an excellent moment of business trustworthiness. I signed up with Collective but they helped me determine that the tax savings wouldn't make it worth it for me. They talked to me, explained it and sent a full and prompt refund. Much appreicated, Matt!

GBRun away as fast as you can Run away fast. 1) Their work is frequently wrong. I've had issues every tax return. If I didnt catch them I would have lost money. The first time they told me to pay $50K in additional taxes when taxes were due. Turns out I was entitled to $30K refund. The second time I caught a mistake, I would have had to pay $20K in extra taxes if I didn't correct 2) Their advice is bad. i end up with a way larger tax return every year than I should, while at the same time incurring penalties. 3) Their communication is bad - very confusing, hard to follow, and hard to get a hold of when you really need them

GB5 stars for Jennifer Rutledge 5 stars for Jennifer Rutledge 2 stars for Collective’s system and policies Jen was so helpful to soothing my anger about how communication has been and the system they have to communicate with the bookkeeper Aser. Jen thoroughly has been great sharing transparency but not making excuses for the bad experience I’ve had. She even comp a month of services bc I shared after filing for both business and personal taxes I will no longer continue with collective. They have no efficient way of categorizing expenses it’s all do it yourself spreadsheets which leaves room for error even though they have you link your bank statements to a 3rd software party. Gusto is one software Collective is another platform And the book keeping platform. So unifies for 300 a month. Compared to quick books.
