Buying Rental Properties Made Easy I have purchased 3 rental properties with them so far. It took me a few months to understand how they came up with the numbers and how the process works. But once I understood, I bought all 3 homes sight unseen. You still have to have some knowledge of what you want but they filter it so that you see the best properties listed on the MLS. Sean and Humberto helped me through the process and even recommended property managers. Already thinking about the next property. Definitely will use again.

Awning has been amazing and exceeded… Awning has been amazing and exceeded expectations. They are responsive, and as a property manager go above and beyond what is typical. Everyone has been friendly and knowledgeable, I needed to reward them by writing a review. There is simply no need to go through an outdated PM and give them 30% of your revenue. To the whole PM team there, y’all are amazing!!!! Keep it up

Avoid Awning - worse than doing it yourself This property management company is no more than a company that takes a significant slice of your revenue stream for barely any work. All they do is outsource to 1099 workers via mobile gig platforms, resulting in unreliable quality and poor communication. My experience was doomed from the outset. Onboarding was interrupted by my contact's vacation. The first guest arrived and had such a terrible experience they complained to Airbnb and got a partial refund - the difference was assessed as a penalty to me and not Awning for their mismanagement. I didn't learn about this until three months later due to delayed invoicing. Issues continued to mount over the short relationship I had with Awning until I terminated the agreement. Guests continued to leave poor reviews. They actually said things like "great house but terrible manager" in the listing. This resulted in a significant revenue loss for me, as all of this happened during the peak summer season. Today, I was deducted the full balance of disputed invoices which I did not approve. Their invoicing is very confusing, and their team never properly answered questions I had. Companies cannot deduct directly from checking accounts like this without proper approval, but Awning does it anyway. Since ending the Awning relationship, the listing has had 15 five-star reviews and no negative ones. It has been less stress to just manage on own.
