It worked It worked! And with a little caring help from my sweet neighbors. I came home on the 4/3 to an empty yard. My old male retriever was brought home within the hour. I was really panicked because my year old female retriever was still missing. She is a registered cream colored retriever not neutered. I was really fearful that someone would take her to be in a puppy mill. Your mind goes to some pretty dark places when a loved one is missing. I got a call the next day from the vet clinic near our house that someone brought her in and they read the micro chip. We didn’t have tags on the dogs. My bad. Definitely worth the money to chip.

Horrible company Horrible company. Purchased a dog from a breeder that was already chipped. On my existing account I followed all of Petlink's instructions to transfer chip from breeder account to my account. They refused to accept the proof that they requested and basically told me I was out of luck.

Scammy spammy money-grubbing company Despite repeated unsubscribe from marketing emails, they keep spamming “One-Year Premium Registration Expires” and try to extort you to pay $19.95 or else you can’t have “unlimited access to your Petlink profile” whatever that means. This deceptive marketing tactic has garnered a class action lawsuit for another microchip company, guess petlink wants one as well? No, it doesn’t mean your pet will no longer be registered. Microchips have permanent data, so anyone who scans will find the pets owner. Do not let these jerks scam you into paying.

I found a dog that had a chip… I found a dog that had a chip registered to someone. I was told they reached out. I never received a call from said owner so I called pet link again for a follow up and they hung up on me. I called again shortly after and the guy on the phone was annoyed saying I’ve reported the dog three times. False, only did it once. At first they were nice and I was considering getting my own dog chipped with them. But now that I know they clearly don’t care about reuniting the dog to the owner, not gonna happen.
