Avoid.. Avoid... Avoid... Beware of Civic Financial Services especially the NY location. Liars and Crooks, they told me what I wanted to hear at the start by answering my questions, then as closing date was set they changed all the rules. Tried charging me over $12,000 in closing costs, only to put in their pockets. As I began to ask more questions before the official closing they lied to me again. Was informed on the closing date that the only way I had access to the funds I was borrowing was to request draws. I had to personally pay for all the renovations and contractors to do the work out of my pocket, then request the money back via draws. If I had the money already I wouldn't need a lender to borrow from, so why borrow the money and pay interest if I must pay for all the renovations upfront with my own money. They are very shady and crooked. Proceed with caution, better yet just avoid altogether!! They don't want to talk with you on the phone, they make it quick and never call back.

Worst experience I've ever had as an… Worst experience I've ever had as an investor. Beware, they created endless headaches for me after constantly pushing back my refinance, month after month. What was supposed to be a 30-day close, is still going and we're past 100 days now. It's been a nightmare of an experience. We Finally seem to be at the end but I wouldn’t want anyone to go through that experience.

CIVIC Financial - My Lender of Choice for Client Referrals I am a Senior Asset Manager at another lender, and Brian Fung is my go-to guy when it comes to referring my clients to him who are approaching their maturity dates. Brian has refinanced at least a dozen of our loans. Not only has he impressed me, my company, but our mutual clients. Brian goes above and beyond to meet our mutual client's needs.
