Do not open an account with Greenwood… Do not open an account with Greenwood Bank! They do not have their own fraud department. Unlike other financial institutions, they provide no alerts of each transactions by text message in place. They just email you about the transactions. They allowed someone to compromise my account and refused to refund me the money that was stolen from me in a timely manner. They allowed the funds to be deducted immediately like the funds that were stolen from me! I am so glad that my Social Security Benefits are being deposited into this account!

The scam bank I thought when I opened the account I was coming to a financial platform that was a better alternative to the big banks. However, I have found them to be more heartless than the big banks. I’m dealing with a death in the family and deposited a check from my church and they placed a seven day hold on it. Once I called customer service they told me your funds will be available in another 4 business days and there is nothing we can do! THANKS GREENWOOD !

Horrible institution Horrible institution! Mobile deposited a check on the 6/20 sat pending until today Checked status said banking difficulties by on their end and deposit would be there today by customer service Instead deposi has disappeared with no explanation no money and no one reached out via emil or phone. I had to call and still received no answer. No way is this a black owned black no one speaks English clearly- Supervisor supposed to call or email me - nothing. Just horrible all the way around Glad I found out now and switched my direct deposit

Greenwood has been a great experience… Greenwood has been a great experience for me. I received not just a plastic card but a metal card. Set up my account and app loaded my first deposit and it has been seamless. I have contacted customer service a few times and they were very pleasant and helped me right away.

I am happy to be part of the Greenwood… I am happy to be part of the Greenwood family and have not had any issues with opening my account, getting my card or adding money. My experience has been smooth and I'm very impressed with the apps functionality. Don't be swayed by these negative comments...they are probably "Bots" trying to disparage a minority bank.
