GBGood Source To be honest, I use the account for weekends when I go out. It is something good for people who want to set a few hundred dollars away. I also think it is a good idea for parents or guardians to give to their children or dependents where they can safely send them money. We have to understand that this is digital banking system as well. I believe the purpose is to get minorities to deposit their money into a bank to protect their money and avoid all these cash and deposit fees. I think we need to sit down and have a conversation with the founders as well as Coastal Community Bank to see how we can make this experience better.

GBStay AWAY. Do NOT bank with Greenwood. There is no benefit to do so. They will hold deposits and refunds longer than necessary and give you excuses like, “We do not see s deposit/refund,” If the wait time for a refund or deposit is 7-10 business days, count on waiting that entire time. No worth it.

GBI never received my debit card I never received my debit card. I requested another one and they charged me for it. You can’t send money out of the account because the app and Plaid keeps saying they failed to authenticate your bank, even though you have to log into that banks mobile banking to sync them. I wanted to support this bank because of the social aspect, but it’s just not worth it. You’d do better opening a checking account with a credit union or even an online bank. TRASH

GBThe scam bank I thought when I opened the account I was coming to a financial platform that was a better alternative to the big banks. However, I have found them to be more heartless than the big banks. I’m dealing with a death in the family and deposited a check from my church and they placed a seven day hold on it. Once I called customer service they told me your funds will be available in another 4 business days and there is nothing we can do! THANKS GREENWOOD !

GBIf I could give negative stars there… If I could give negative stars there wouldn't be enough. My account was hacked in January. I sent all the proof they asked me for why am I still fighting these people to get my money back. The saddest thing is my card was locked. The customer representatives are unprofessional, unknowledgeable and a supervisor or team lead is never available. I've been waiting to hear back from a supervisor 2 weeks. I'm excited for the people who have had better experiences. I'm very displeased.
