Good Source To be honest, I use the account for weekends when I go out. It is something good for people who want to set a few hundred dollars away. I also think it is a good idea for parents or guardians to give to their children or dependents where they can safely send them money. We have to understand that this is digital banking system as well. I believe the purpose is to get minorities to deposit their money into a bank to protect their money and avoid all these cash and deposit fees. I think we need to sit down and have a conversation with the founders as well as Coastal Community Bank to see how we can make this experience better.

I am happy to be part of the Greenwood… I am happy to be part of the Greenwood family and have not had any issues with opening my account, getting my card or adding money. My experience has been smooth and I'm very impressed with the apps functionality. Don't be swayed by these negative comments...they are probably "Bots" trying to disparage a minority bank.

GREENWOOD BANKING Hello,to all involved in this minority owned & operated online banking...I was so amazed at the launching of this I immediately joined the wait list, and I am now with card and very PROUD to be affiliated with this bank...I may not have much income but it gives me honor to whip my card out for purchases in my community especially at black/hispanic etc. owned businesses .... and I wonder if they RECOGNIZE as well how great this is....I could go on&on but YOU ALL ROCK in my world, KEEP ON IMPROVING.

The ability to utilize my dollar in my community, not worry about fees, use Apple Pay, and get paid early are just some of the crazy benefits. I love pulling out my physical metal card and getting questions about it and seeing the interest everywhere I shop. Do not open an account with Greenwood… Do not open an account with Greenwood Bank! They do not have their own fraud department. Unlike other financial institutions, they provide no alerts of each transactions by text message in place. They just email you about the transactions. They allowed someone to compromise my account and refused to refund me the money that was stolen from me in a timely manner. They allowed the funds to be deducted immediately like the funds that were stolen from me! I am so glad that my Social Security Benefits are being deposited into this account!
