After 15 years this company is failing After 15 years this company is failing. Do not use them. You cannot get an agent on the phone and the phone system is extremely frustrating. They applied my funds incorrectly and kept adding late charges. I finally talked to someone to fix all of this, including my credit report that they reported last payment only to get another late payment today. This literally has me in tears, they are so inefficient.

Each step was clearly explained and all of the financials were intensively clarified, even if they had to be repeated to me! Each progression of the process was detailed in the many emails guiding me. It has taken less than two weeks from my initial query to closing! Now that's a truly amazing experience! Need I say more?

Disaster They messed up my escrow account and will not be accountable. Horrible customer service and won't give you a person to work with. My mortgage was sold to them. If you have a choice - never go there.

Good luck getting your escrow refund. Pennymac erroneously paid property taxes from escrow on a mortgage that had been satisfied back in mid-December. We have still not received the refund even after multiple contacts. They have kept/used our money for 3 months and it's still sitting in the escrow account. I would suggest telling your lender to absolutely not sell your mortgage to these crooks.
