GBThere is no way to make a payment… There is no way to make a payment "after hours" by phone. Or without chatting with them. This is ridiculous. There should be multiple ways to PAY anyway and how that a customer can. The number 888 870 229 has no evening access and the other phone number loops gives no option to make a payment only info. I guess this multi-million-dollar company is too cheap to make itself accessible, not everyone is happy with ONLINE payments! I guess the other option is that they WANT customers to have difficulty paying---that much seems to be true.

GBGood luck getting your escrow refund. Pennymac erroneously paid property taxes from escrow on a mortgage that had been satisfied back in mid-December. We have still not received the refund even after multiple contacts. They have kept/used our money for 3 months and it's still sitting in the escrow account. I would suggest telling your lender to absolutely not sell your mortgage to these crooks.

GBRE-Fi to save $300 a month went easy… RE-Fi to save $300 a month went easy and fast closing! I have an FHA loan with unfortunate built-in PMI at around $400+ cost a month, which remains until I sell my home as this current RE-FI could not change since my income did not allow a change from FHA to conventional. Good experience all around with PennyMac.

GBPENNY MAC SUCKS!!!!! Have had increases due to taxes 3 years in a row...which NEVER happened when I was with Rocket Mortgage (for over 10 years!). Most recent increase was $200/month. It's always due to "taxes", but their record keeping is deplorable. Have tried multiple times to create an online account via the PennyMac website, but keep getting error messages. They're "customer service" is literally non-existent. HORRIBLE COMPANY. DON'T WALK...RUN AWAY FROM THIS MORTGAGE COMPANY!!!
