GBScrewing over both landlords and tenants Greedy company using landlords to squeeze $$ out of millions of tenants in the USA...just for paying their rent! Landlords get a bad enough rap as it is, now Appfolio is leveraging their clients' tenants to directly charge them $2.49 per online rent payment. This is a junk fee and Appfolio is taking it as straight profit. It's impossible to get in touch with anyone at the company as either a tenant OR a client. The fact that they are hiding from this and refusing to answer anyone's questions says it all. Shady company with no integrity, just greedy.

GBAppFolio is a great software AppFolio is a great software. Their ability to hear our feedback on what improvements can be made to the software and implement upgrades to make it happen is unmatched in the industry. Our tenants and owners love their personal portals giving them access to their information with ease. Our team loves the easy to use software. We also had AppFolio build out our website and we've actually had new clients choose us as a property manager simply because of how well our website is built. We LOVE AppFolio!

GBEasy to use and great functionality The system works very well, and the team works on upgrades that are suggested by the actual users. For commercial properties there are still some things that could be better, but we were told at the conference this year that commercial would be a focus in 2024. Hope so!!

GBQuestionable practices. The software is just okay not noteworthy enough to find a site to write a review. But recently they did a sneaky money grab changing from free Echeck for years to a 2.50 fee via 4AM email 20 days ahead of time to be automatically applied without opt in ($5+ for tenants with multiple people on the lease who pay independently). They say they “waived” the fee in the past, but I don’t remember it having been presented that way.
