Appfolio has regressed with technology… Appfolio has regressed with technology that people expect to help their daily lives. Many software and industries in general offer free ACH echeck options. After Appfolio pushed to get many residents paying online, they have begun to charge $2.49 per transaction. This is fee is not substantiated. They say they want to be progressive, but removing a free automatic payment option is a step backwards for most people. Paying with checks are now necessary again, which is ridiculous!

Customer service has become very hard… Customer service has become very hard to come by. Obnoxious change to tenant ach fees shows the arrogant nature of this company. Their "vote" method of improving things sucks, especially when you just need something done.

This is kind of a horrible company This is kind of a horrible company. I sent them an inquiry to partner with them, which they took forever to respond only to tell me that basically they didn’t have time for the on boarding and I wasn’t important enough lol. Don’t use them

AppFolio is a great software AppFolio is a great software. Their ability to hear our feedback on what improvements can be made to the software and implement upgrades to make it happen is unmatched in the industry. Our tenants and owners love their personal portals giving them access to their information with ease. Our team loves the easy to use software. We also had AppFolio build out our website and we've actually had new clients choose us as a property manager simply because of how well our website is built. We LOVE AppFolio!

Beware of AppFolio User Fees! AppFolio is now charging apartment owners about $2.50 per month per unit to withdraw money automatically from our bank accounts. This is bizarre. No other company I've ever dealt with has charged for automatic monthly payments from bank accounts. Time to get rid of AppFolio and go back to mailing checks every month, which my bank will do for free with its bill payment system.
