Been renting with this janky company… Been renting with this janky company for 7 months & every month I’ve put in maintenance request for the same issues. THEY/ THE OWNER LITERALLY REFUSES TO FIX THE ISSUES!! WE HAVE NO LIGHTS IN OUR MASTER BATH!! Each month they send out different electric vendor hoping for a cheaper estimate.. we’ve had 5 different vendors come to “evaluate the problem” TF!!!! 7 MONTHS WITHOUT LIGHTS!!! THIS COMPANY IS TRASH!!!

They give the owners to much leverage They give the owners to much leverage. Poplar is managing the rental property on their behalf, so the owner should only have a say so in, whether or not they agree to allow a tenant to renew a lease. But Poplar allows the owners to determine the renewal increase amount, which in our case our owners want to go up $300 for another year lease which is ridiculous. Poplar should determine the increase rates based on each states guidelines. Otherwise they have not been too bad to deal with.
